Steve was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and developed a love of movies during his teenage years.
After graduating university with a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, he worked in England for several years before jumping at an opportunity to work in video/audio equipment design in California.
That design job transitioned to one more focused on production - where he honed his skills, and eventually started his own production company, Videografix.
That was almost 30 years ago.
Since then, Videografix has been on an exhilarating journey of evolution and refinement!
History of VIDEOGRAFIX
I've been deeply involved in event and video production since the late eighties. After working for several years on the design side of the industry (first digital video frame-stores), I transitioned into the production side of the business.
I started my own video production company, VIDEOGRAFIX, in the early nineties, focusing exclusively on corporate work, and over the years have built an extensive client list here is Silicon Valley and beyond. The company is still growing today.
I have over twenty-five years of first-hand experience in sound recording, teleprompting, video production, and event/tradeshow development/execution.
